Alerion is seeking four highly motivated and exceptionally organized King Air Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to join its Part 91/135 operation based in Opa-locka, Florida. The successful candidate must be type-rated in the King Air and possess a demonstrated history of success within a Part 135 environment. The ideal individual will exhibit strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills to foster a collaborative and productive team environment. This role involves conducting Part 91/135 charter flights in strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and all applicable FAA regulations and guidelines. They must provide first-class customer service and care, while also actively participating in the development of future company captains through strong leadership, mentorship, and effective management practices. During duty periods, the pilot's location will be restricted to a maximum of two hours from the designated airport. The schedule will consist of 20 days on duty and 10 days off per month, with flexibility regarding the off days, to be agreed upon with crew members.
Pilot in Command Requirements include: Simulator training in the King Air within the last 24 months; ATP certification; a minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time; 1,250 hours of PIC time; 500 hours of multi-engine land time; and 250 hours of PIC time in type. The candidate must possess a current first-class medical certificate and a valid U.S. passport. They must have no FAA violations within the last 5 years and must meet the standards for Argus and Wyvern. The candidate must reside within a two-hour driving radius of the Opa-locka Airport (KOPF). Part 135 experience is preferred. They must be able to freely travel in and out of the United States and pass a ten-year criminal history record check and a pre-employment drug test.
