Key Responsibilities
The Aviation Captain is responsible for:
- Executing the safe operation of aircraft, including meticulous determination of departure times, flight routes, and making informed decisions regarding flight cancellations based on prevailing weather or other operational conditions.
- Ensuring complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures throughout all phases of flight operations.
- Proactively instituting all necessary operational adjustments during flight to respond to en route conditions, thereby maintaining continuous adherence to company policies, procedures, and rules.
Required Qualifications
Prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate aircraft type rating(s).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 4,000 hours total fixed-wing flight experience.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine land flight time.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
