Learjet 45 Series Captain

A prominent aviation operator is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Learjet 45 Series Captain to join its elite flight operations team. This pivotal role entrusts the successful candidate with ultimate authority and responsibility for the safe and efficient execution of all assigned flights. The Captain ensures unparalleled safety and service excellence under FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135 regulations. Serving as a paramount representative of the company to its discerning passengers, the Captain upholds the highest standards of professionalism, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance in private and executive jet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercises ultimate authority for the safe operation of the Learjet 45 Series aircraft during all flight phases.
  • Ensures strict adherence to all federal, state, local, and foreign aviation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures detailed in the operations manual.
  • Maintains the highest levels of professionalism, representing the company with distinction to all passengers and stakeholders.
  • Prioritizes the safety, security, and efficiency of all flight operations.
  • Conducts flights in full compliance with FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135 operational requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Possession of a Multi-Engine Land Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
    • A current First Class Medical Certificate.
    • Valid passport and driver’s license.
    • ATP or ATP written certification.
  • Flight Time Minimums:
    • A minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
    • At least 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
    • A minimum of 200 hours of multi-engine flight time.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Demonstrated proficiency in radiotelephony communications.
    • Ability to successfully pass comprehensive drug tests, TSA background screenings, and obtain necessary ID badges and ramp driving privileges.
    • Proficiency in standard business software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Location:
    • Must reside within a two-hour personal commute from the designated operational base, with relocation assistance potentially considered for exceptional candidates.
