Air Wisconsin Airlines is seeking a dedicated Flight Attendant to join its inflight team. This full-time position, requisition number FLIGH013434, is based in Dayton, OH, Milwaukee, WI, and Appleton, WI. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for passengers while operating as the sole Flight Attendant on regional jet aircraft.

Job Summary:

This position requires a high level of customer service and a commitment to safety. The Flight Attendant will be responsible for ensuring passenger well-being by providing a welcoming atmosphere, addressing passenger requests professionally, and handling in-flight emergencies following established safety procedures. Additional responsibilities include the marketing and sale of products during flights. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work varied schedules. New hire locations are not guaranteed and flexibility is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform services to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Professionally address passenger requests.
  • Market and sell products during flights.
  • Adhere to established safety guidelines.
  • Handle in-flight emergencies and security matters in accordance with standard procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport at the time of application, or a valid foreign passport and current documentation permitting unlimited transit between international borders.
  • Possesses 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Must successfully complete a Federally Mandated 10-Year Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting, and Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to transit across borders without restrictions.
  • Must be adaptable and able to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Must not exceed a maximum height of 5'10" (70") without shoes and have the ability to reach a minimum of 68" above the ground.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, squat, twist, and turn, as well as push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and converse proficiently in English.
  • Ability to attend and pass a three-week, unpaid training class.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
