Job Summary
The First Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the Pilot-in-Command to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This position involves assisting in all flight duties as delegated, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company manuals, operational bulletins, and all pertinent flight instructions. Responsibilities extend to pre-departure preparations and post-flight documentation, contributing to the overall integrity of flight operations. Required Qualifications and Certifications
To be considered for this First Officer role, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- An unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multiengine rating, possessing a minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 500 multiengine hours.
- An unrestricted FAA ATP certificate with a multiengine rating, coupled with a minimum of 1,500 total flight hours as a military pilot.
- Successful completion and passing of the FAA ATP written exam within the last 12 months, along with 2,000 total flight hours in a fixed-wing aircraft and a multiengine commercial rating with 500 hours of multiengine experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous flight experience on Boeing 757/767 aircraft is highly preferred.
- Accumulating 100 hours of flight time within the last 12 months is advantageous.
General Requirements
- Possession of a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Hold a valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.
- Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government secret security clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Possession of a valid passport permitting international travel.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stand, bend, and reach as required, sit for extended periods, and adhere to company attendance policies.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be capable of clear communication with coworkers, performing tasks that involve standing, bending, and reaching, maintaining seated positions for extended durations, and complying with all ATI attendance requirements.
