Flexjet, a global leader in private aviation, is seeking a customer-focused Helicopter Pilot to join their team at their Bridgeport, CT facilities. The role involves piloting the Sikorsky-76 aircraft for domestic flights, ensuring a safe and seamless travel experience for Flexjet owners.
About the Role
This position is integral to providing premium private jet travel services. The Helicopter Pilot will operate as part of a flight crew, contributing to the exceptional experience offered to Flexjet owners. The role emphasizes crew coordination, passenger service, and adherence to stringent safety protocols.
Responsibilities

Functionally responsible to the Pilot-in-Command on all flights.

Perform all assigned duties and specific tasks as directed.

Maintain a high degree of crew coordination, conducting all activities professionally and courteously.

Greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage luggage storage.

Conduct passenger briefings and assist with emergency evacuations.

Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook.

Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate and report any medical conditions that may affect flight performance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
Must be able to achieve ATP minimums (written completed and qualified to take the check ride). ATP is not required for SICs.

1,500 hours total flight time.

Commercial Pilot certificate with rotorcraft/helicopter and instrument rating.

Meet the recency experience requirements defined by CFR part 61.

50 hours of logged IFR time.

Current 1st Class Medical certificate.

Valid Passport.

No FAA sanctions within the past 5 years.

Ability to work in the United States and travel internationally.
Qualifications

Special consideration will be given for military experience, PIC time, turbine time, and experience flying the S76 and in the NYC area.

A Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft operations is desirable.

Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91).

Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.

Strong organizational and advanced multi-tasking abilities.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in word processing, email, and web-based applications.

A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment with a long-term relationship focus.
