Position Overview
Worldwide Jet is actively seeking a current and qualified Challenger 601 Pilot-In-Command (PIC) to join its esteemed flight crew. This critical role ensures the safe and efficient operation of executive charter flights, upholding the company's commitment to excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-In-Command for Challenger 601 operations.
- Ensure adherence to all FAA regulations and company policies.
- Provide a superior level of service to charter clients.
- Collaborate effectively with flight crew and ground personnel.
- Maintain proficiency in all aspects of flight operations.
Schedule and Location
This position features a 15 days on, 13 days off rotation. Flight Crew members are home-based and are required to reside within a two-hour radius of a designated Gateway Airport, ensuring efficient integration into the operational schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current and Qualified Challenger 601 (CL601) PIC Type Rating. Applications without this specific rating will not be considered.
- FAA Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of a U.S. Passport.
- Demonstrated experience in Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
- Proficiency in computer operations and software, including Internet, Email, iPads, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform service operations in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Capability to manage rest periods effectively and perform red-eye flights.
- Ability to perform medium to heavy lifting tasks as required.
- Capacity to sit for extended periods during flight operations.
- Ability to maintain unrestricted travel to and from Canada.
- Compliance with both U.S. and EASA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Priority will be given to current and qualified Part 135 pilots.
- Priority will be given to pilots possessing a current Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total PIC Flight Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 2,500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Challenger 601): 250 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 250 hours
Training and Development
Training is provided by Worldwide Jet. Candidates who require company financing for recurrent training will enter into a one-year promissory note and training reimbursement agreement, applicable if they have attended training within the last 36 months.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary:
$165,000 per year.
