Pilot in Command (PIC) – Hawker 800/850/900

Privaira is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for our midsize jet fleet, operating under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This full-time position requires the successful candidate to reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out range of the home base. Privaira is prepared to assist the right candidate in obtaining their ATP rating.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures. The role requires a professional demeanor, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications

Total Flying Time: 3,000 hours

Pilot-In-Command (PIC) Total Time: 1,500 hours

Multi-Engine (MEL) Total Time: 1,500 hours

Instrument Total Time: 250 hours

Turbine Total Time: 200 hours

ATP rated, or Commercial rated with ATP written exam complete

Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate

FCC Restricted Radio License

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Valid U.S. driver’s license

Current passport with unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and the Caribbean

Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications

Impeccable safety record.

Initial or recurrent 142 training in type completed within the last 24 months.
Essential Functions
-
Conduct safe and efficient domestic and international flight operations under 14 CFR Part 91 and 135.

Maintain high standards of crew coordination, professionalism, and customer service.

Perform passenger greetings, luggage assistance, and pre-flight briefings.

Ensure strict adherence to company procedure manuals.

Maintain physical/mental fitness for flight duties and timely notification of any medical impairments.

Capacity to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Required Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of FAR Part 91 and 135, FAA, and ICAO international flight regulations.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency in word processing, email, and mobile/web-based applications.

Demonstrated attention to detail and a professional, well-groomed appearance.
