Pilot in Command (PIC) - Business Aviation

The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring aircraft operations are conducted in a safe, compliant, and highly efficient manner, adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is paramount in delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers, embodying professionalism and operational excellence in every flight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercises final authority and responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of assigned aircraft.
- Ensures strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company standard operating procedures, and industry best practices.
- Manages all aspects of flight, including pre-flight planning, comprehensive safety checks, in-flight procedures, and post-flight duties.
- Prioritizes passenger safety, comfort, and service quality throughout all flight operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidates should possess 4-6 years of progressive experience in aviation.
- Previous experience within corporate or business aviation operations is highly preferred.
- A valid FAA Type Rating specific to the company’s applicable fleet is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to competently perform all essential functions and duties of the Pilot in Command position.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Pilot in Command Multi-Engine Land (PIC MEL) Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Jet Aircraft Time: 500 hours
