Job Summary
JSX is seeking a Quick Upgrade Captain to operate aircraft safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an innovative aviation experience with a focus on work-life balance, including typical schedules averaging 3-5 legs per day over 14-16 days per month, with a goal to return pilots to their home base nightly.
Responsibilities

Conduct pre-flight preparations, including reviewing flight details, collaborating with the Captain on strategies, and performing required checks.

Operate aircraft in full compliance with FAA regulations, JSX SOPs, and industry safety standards.

Maintain real-time communication with Mission Control, Ground Operations, ATC, and Flight Attendant.

Act as secondary voice to the Captain in decision-making.

Assist with post-flight duties, including quick turn tasks and logging maintenance information.

Participate in recurrent training and performance evaluations.

Assist with baggage handling and other duties at airports with limited ground support.

Represent JSX with high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
-
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
-
High School Diploma or GED.
-
Minimum 2500 fixed-wing total flight hours.
-
Minimum 500 multi-engine hours.
-
Minimum 500 turbine hours.
-
Minimum 100 hours within the last 12 months.
-
No FAA violations, accidents, incidents, or suspensions.
-
No significant training or check ride failures.
Preferred Experience:
-
3000+ total flight hours.
-
1000+ multi-engine hours.
-
Embraer 135/145 experience.
Skills, Licenses, & Certifications:

Valid FAA Pilot Certificate appropriate to the aircraft and operating position held.

Current and valid Driver’s license and Passport.

Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Current and valid ATP or Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate.
-
Current and valid FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation:
Daily rate during training ($150.00 + per diem), increasing to $259.00 (+ per diem) on the line. Guaranteed minimum 14-day salary per month. Eligibility for Productivity Pay and quarterly bonuses.
