Position: Chief Cabin Crew

The Chief Cabin Crew reports directly to the Head of Operations & Accountable Manager (AM). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all matters concerning the safety, legality, economy, security, and efficiency of Cabin Operations. The incumbent serves as the primary point of accountability for cabin performance and regulatory compliance.
Core Responsibilities

Lead and manage Cabin Operations with a focus on transparency, honesty, and integrity.

Ensure the required number of qualified Cabin Crew members are available for all flights.

Coordinate with the Manager of Safety, Compliance, and Security to uphold operational safety and regulatory standards.

Manage accident, incident, and occurrence reporting processes.

Oversee cabin headcount requirements, recruitment processes, and career development initiatives across all bases.

Ensure personnel selection is based on appropriate knowledge, skills, training, and values.

Define and standardize Cabin Crew Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) globally.

Implement legal requirements into organizational processes.

Facilitate regular management meetings, participate in HFO meetings, and liaise between Cabin and Flight crews.

Collaborate with the Operations Control Centre, Operations Planning, HR, and Marketing departments to ensure operational, staffing, and branding consistency.

Monitor ongoing crew performance, motivation, and training compliance in coordination with the Crew Training Manager.

Maintain up-to-date documentation, including the Cabin Crew Manual, and oversee the distribution of crew orders and information.

Act as a liaison with competent authorities and original equipment manufacturers.

Manage Health and Safety matters and execute duties delegated by the Accountable Manager.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
-
Minimum 4–6 years of overall experience in a similar role.

Advantageous: Minimum 1 year as a Senior Cabin Attendant at Wizz Air, or 3 years at Wizz Air with at least 6 months as a Senior Cabin Attendant.
Hard Skills

Technical requirements as per OMM 3.3.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Detailed knowledge of cabin safety principles, rostering, and fatigue management.

Comprehensive understanding of departmental operating policies and procedures.
Education & Languages

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Competencies

Eligibility to obtain a UK right-to-work visa.

Strong people management, organizational, and communication skills.

Proven ability to perform effectively under time pressure.
