About the Cabin Crew Role
The Cabin Crew Member plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional passenger experience, prioritizing safety, and ensuring comfort throughout every flight. This critical position involves a variety of duties both on board and on the ground, all performed in strict adherence to Wizz Air’s rigorous policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritizing and meticulously executing all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of all passengers and crew.
- Performing comprehensive on-board and ground duties in full compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Efficiently managing in-flight sales operations and accurately handling cash transactions.
- Extending a warm welcome to all passengers and providing attentive assistance and support throughout their entire journey.
- Consistently upholding and embodying Wizz Air's core values: dedication, inclusivity, positivity, and integrity.
- Becoming an integral and valued member of a vibrant community comprising over 5,000 aviation professionals.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
Prospective Cabin Crew Members must fulfill the following essential criteria:
- A minimum age of 18 years.
- An arm reach of 210 cm when standing on tiptoes.
- Possession of a high school degree (Baccalaureate Degree) or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken English.
- A valid passport without any limitations (minimum 6 months validity remaining) and the legal right to work in the country of the intended base.
- Proficiency in swimming.
- Current residency within 60 minutes of the chosen base, or a willingness to relocate and commute according to the operational schedule.
- No visible tattoos or piercings when wearing the official company uniform.
- An enthusiastic, customer-focused, and people-oriented personality, with a genuine desire to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
- Important Medical Note: Candidates who wear glasses or contact lenses and have a prescription exceeding +4 or falling below -4 should be aware that they are unlikely to pass the mandatory medical examination required for this role.
