The Pictsweet Company is experiencing growth and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Aviation Captain to join its team. The successful candidate will serve as a vital member of a two-pilot crew, assuming full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the company's Cessna Citation 650 aircraft. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safety-first culture within the Pictsweet Aviation Department while ensuring efficient procedures that support unparalleled customer service.
  • Assume ultimate authority for the safe operation of the aircraft when designated as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness prior to each flight.
  • Ensure all flight crew members fully understand their assigned duties.
  • Make critical decisions regarding flight initiation, delays, diversions, or cancellations, communicating these decisions promptly to relevant personnel, including the Aviation Manager, Chief Pilot, Scheduler, and Lead Passenger.
  • Prepare or supervise the preparation of flight plans, meticulously considering factors such as altitude, terrain, weather conditions, range, weight, cruise data, airport facilities, and navigational aids.
  • Manage all operational tasks associated with operating the aircraft while away from the home base.
  • Ensure unwavering compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Report any known or suspected FAA violations or incidents to the Chief Pilot immediately.
  • Ensure all required passenger ground handling and transportation arrangements are in place.
  • Complete all necessary trip paperwork with accuracy.
  • Fuel the aircraft at the home base.
  • Execute collateral duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must maintain an alcohol-free and tobacco-free lifestyle.
  • Possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multi-engine land rating.
  • Minimum of 4000 hours of total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1000 hours of multi-engine turbine flight time.
  • Hold a Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Hold an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
