Superior Air Charter | EMB 500/505 Chief Pilot

The Chief Pilot is responsible for designing infrastructure that supports the safe execution of flight operations consistent with Superior Air Charter’s Values and economic goals by developing a high-performance pilot group. Key responsibilities include assisting the Director of Operations in performing and delivering various flight operations functions and programs including but not limited to pilot recruiting, pilot training, pilot records, manual currency, external reports, airport charts and publications, pilot domicile management. This position is exclusively in support of Superior Air Charter, LLC.

Fine Print

• Shall meet the requirements of FAR 119.71(c) (essential requirement)
• Minimum 3 years experience, within the past 6, years as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 (essential requirement)
  
• Must hold an airline transport pilot certificate with appropriate ratings and be qualified to serve as pilot in command in at least one aircraft used in Superior Air Charter's operation (essential requirement)
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (essential requirement)
• Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and prolonged periods of standing in addition to walking long distances (essential requirement)
  
• Available to travel as required (essential requirement)
• Previous experience in a supervisory role

Pay & Perks

Compensation range is $130,000 - $140,000 annually + bonus. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation. Most qualified Candidates will receive an offer near the starting point of our compensation range.
