A premier corporate flight department based in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Chief Pilot to lead its Challenger flight operations. This pivotal full-time, First/Mid-Level Manager role offers an accomplished aviator the unique opportunity to shape and deliver world-class flight experiences for executives, family members, and business partners.

The Chief Pilot will combine hands-on flying expertise with strategic operational oversight, robust leadership, and continuous innovation. This individual will be instrumental in elevating the aviation program to the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and service, ensuring it remains a gold standard in corporate aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Flight Leadership & Command: Serves as Pilot in Command for all domestic and international flights aboard the Challenger aircraft, ensuring safe, efficient, and discreet travel for all passengers.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversees all aspects of daily flight operations, including comprehensive scheduling, meticulous crew management, and the development and implementation of advanced training programs, maintaining full compliance with FAA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Crew Mentorship & Development: Inspires, mentors, and manages a small, elite flight crew, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and professional excellence within the corporate flight department.
  • Safety Management & Compliance: Champions and rigorously implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and an advanced Safety Management System (SMS), establishing and upholding the highest safety benchmarks across all aviation operations.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partners effectively with aircraft maintenance teams and external vendors to coordinate aircraft inspections, audits, and ensures optimal fleet readiness and operational integrity.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborates closely with company leadership to strategically align aviation operations with overarching business objectives and needs, acting as a trusted advisor on all flight-related matters.
  • Exceptional Service Delivery: Ensures the consistent provision of professional, discreet, and unparalleled travel experiences for all passengers.

Required Qualifications:

  • An FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a Challenger type rating (604/605/650 preferred).
  • A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours.
  • At least 5,000 hours of turbine Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated corporate aviation experience.
  • Proven leadership and crew mentoring experience.
  • A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • A valid passport with eligibility for international travel.
  • Global flight experience is strongly preferred.
