The Mission and Core Responsibilities
- Inspire and Lead: The Chief Pilot will mentor and manage a small, highly skilled flight crew, cultivating a robust culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous professional development within the flight department.
- Flight Operations Command: This role involves serving as Pilot in Command (PIC) for critical domestic and international missions aboard Challenger aircraft, consistently upholding the highest standards of airmanship, professionalism, and discretion.
- Operational Excellence Oversight: Responsibilities include overseeing comprehensive flight scheduling, implementing rigorous training programs, and managing daily flight operations with unwavering adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and internal company policies.
- Safety Champion: The Chief Pilot will champion the development, implementation, and rigorous adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and robust Safety Management System (SMS) practices, thereby establishing and maintaining the industry's highest safety benchmarks.
- Collaborative Coordination: This position requires effective partnership with internal maintenance teams and external vendors to ensure timely aircraft inspections, thorough audits, and consistent operational readiness across the fleet.
- Strategic Partner: The Chief Pilot will work closely and collaboratively with company leadership, ensuring that all aviation operations are strategically aligned with the organization’s overarching business needs and objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a Challenger type rating (604/605/650 preferred).
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including at least 5,000 hours of turbine Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- A minimum of five years of dedicated corporate aviation experience.
- Strong global flight experience is highly preferred, demonstrating proficiency in complex international operations.
- Proven leadership and crew mentoring experience within an aviation environment.
- Possession of a current First Class Medical certificate.
- A valid passport with full eligibility for international travel.

Travel and Physical Requirements
