A leading aviation operator seeks highly motivated and service-oriented individuals to join its professional Cabin Crew team at the Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) base.

Candidate Profile and Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate is required to meet the following standards, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional passenger experience. This role is suitable for both experienced aviation professionals and dedicated career changers (Quereinsteiger).

  • The applicant must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Candidates may be entry-level career changers or experienced Cabin Crew Members.
  • Possesses an excellent command of both German and English languages (written and spoken).
  • Demonstrates exceptional commitment and a high degree of service orientation.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, high flexibility, and strong team working ability.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, and open demeanor coupled with a polished appearance.
  • Exhibits strong intercultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Must possess competent swimming ability.
  • Required visual acuity, corrected, must be between +/- 5 diopters.
  • Holds a valid, unrestricted EU passport (minimum 6 months validity) or, for non-EU citizens, must possess an unrestricted residence permit and relevant work authorization.
  • Ensures access to reliable internet, a personal email address, and consistent telephone accessibility for operational needs.
  • Must reside within a maximum distance of 50 km (approximately 1 hour travel time) of the assigned operational base.

Desirable Qualifications (Advantageous Assets)

  • Highly desirable assets include a valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation.
  • Possession of a current security background check (Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung).
  • A valid Aviation Medical certificate is considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits Package

The operator is committed to providing a stimulating professional environment with competitive remuneration and comprehensive support for its Cabin Crew staff, based at the primary operational base in Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).

  • Initial fixed-term contract of 24 months, with a clear option for transition to permanent employment.
  • A comprehensive, structured initial training program (approximately 4 weeks) is provided.
  • A competitive expense allowance is provided during the training period.
  • An attractive base salary covering 65 block hours, supplemented by various allowances.
  • Salary classification acknowledges and incorporates previous Cabin Crew flight experience.
  • Highly competitive remuneration for supplementary flight hours: €40.00 per block hour from the 65th hour, increasing to €55.00 per block hour from the 80th hour.
  • Provision of per diem allowance (Abwesenheitsgeld) during flight operations.
  • Opportunities to earn commission through onboard sales.
  • Full uniform provision and a monthly allowance for uniform cleaning.
