Senior Cabin Crew Member (m/f/d) - Cologne

German Airways is seeking a skilled Senior Cabin Crew Member to join its team in Cologne. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless and safe flight experience for all passengers. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and attentive care to passengers throughout the flight, from boarding to disembarkation.
  • Manage and coordinate cabin crew activities during all flight operations.
  • Maintain smooth service delivery and ensure cabin safety, adhering to EASA regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with both cabin and cockpit crews to deliver an optimal passenger experience.
  • Assume responsibility for quality management and the strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Complete necessary reports and administrative tasks following each flight.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (according to EASA regulations 120) and a valid SCCM training certificate (according to EASA regulations 200).
  • Demonstrable professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member or in a comparable aviation role.
  • Valid medical certificate and a current negative drug screening result.
  • Minimum age of 21 years and a minimum height of 1.60 meters.
  • Fluency in business English; proficiency in German and other languages is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to reach the operational base within 90 minutes for on-call duties.
  • Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure, demonstrate a strong service ethic, and maintain a high level of safety awareness.
  • Proficiency in IT, including access to a tablet or PC for flight preparation.
  • Valid passport with unlimited validity; for non-EU citizens, a valid residence and work permit are required.
  • A well-groomed and professional appearance, coupled with a winning and personable demeanor.
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to foster positive interpersonal relationships.
