The Role: Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM)
The Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) assumes a pivotal leadership role, ensuring both the safety of passengers and crew and the efficient delivery of premium cabin service. This position requires strong leadership skills, rigorous adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to upholding the company’s reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the cabin crew team throughout all phases of flight operations, maintaining optimal efficiency and professionalism.
- Is responsible for the professional care of all passengers, facilitating a seamless experience from boarding through to departure.
- Ensures the highest levels of cabin safety and security are maintained in strict accordance with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations.
- Collaborates effectively with both the cabin crew team and the cockpit crew to ensure cohesive operation and an optimal flight experience for all customers.
- Upholds stringent quality management standards and verifies ongoing compliance with all mandated safety protocols.
- Executes necessary reporting and administrative tasks following the completion of each flight duty.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in aviation safety leadership and meets the following essential criteria:
- Holds a valid Cabin Crew Attestation (in accordance with EASA ORO.CC 120) and the required Senior Cabin Crew Member training certificate (EASA ORO.CC 200).
- Demonstrates proven professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member or in a directly comparable supervisory role within the airline industry.
- Possesses a valid aviation medical certificate and a current negative drug screening result.
- Meets the minimum requirements: age of 21 years and a minimum height of 1.60 meters.
- Is business fluent in English; proficiency in German and other foreign languages is highly advantageous.
- Must maintain accessibility to the designated place of work within 90 minutes for efficient response during on-call duty periods.
- Exhibits a high capacity to perform effectively under pressure, coupled with a strong service ethic and outstanding safety awareness.
- Has necessary IT skills and dependable access to a tablet or PC for essential flight service preparation.
- Holds a passport with unlimited validity; non-EU citizens must provide a valid residence and work permit.
- Presents a well-groomed, professional appearance coupled with a winning and cooperative personality.
- Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and social skills essential for a demanding operational environment.
- Possesses valid hygiene training certification as per EU Regulation 852/2004.
