The Role: Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM)

Marabu Airlines is seeking highly experienced and dedicated Senior Cabin Crew Members (SCCM) to join its team. This permanent, full-time position is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of outstanding onboard service and the smooth execution of flight operations. Successful candidates will assume a key leadership role, contributing significantly to the airline's commitment to excellence.

Locations: Leipzig, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Germany

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position and is not offered as a commuting contract. A conversion course for this role is scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Cabin Crew Member will be responsible for:

Leading and supporting cabin crew teams to ensure efficient and harmonious in-flight operations.
Providing guidance and mentorship to cabin crew, fostering professional growth and skill enhancement.
Establishing and maintaining high standards for passenger service and comfort.
Conducting thorough pre-flight checks, expertly managing emergency procedures, and meticulously upholding all aviation regulations.
Driving in-flight sales initiatives and actively participating in promotional activities.
Acting as the primary communication link between flight crew and cabin crew, managing reports and diligently documenting incidents.

Qualifications and Requirements

Prospective Senior Cabin Crew Members must meet the following criteria:

Age: Minimum age of 18 years.
Height: Minimum height of 158 cm.
Education: Possession of a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Certification: A valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation.
Citizenship: Legal right to live and work in Germany and the European Union.
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. All levels of German language proficiency are welcome, with an encouragement to pursue higher levels over time.
Medical Fitness: A valid aeronautical medical certificate and the ability to swim unassisted.
Experience: Current experience of at least 12 months as a Senior Cabin Crew Member (SCCM) on Airbus aircraft.
Proof of Rank: Official SCCM rank documentation from the current employer's HR department is mandatory for this position, along with a Block Hours confirmation Letter.
Personal Traits: Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high degree of professionalism and reliability.
Background Check: No criminal record, as verified by a comprehensive background check.
Accessibility: Ability to reach the designated home base airport within 60 minutes at any given time.
