Job Description: Type Rating Instructor / Examiner (m/f/d)
Lufthansa Aviation Training Operations Germany (LAT OPS DE), one of Europe’s leading Approved Training Organizations (ATO), is seeking experienced Type Rating Instructors and Examiners to join our team. With over 20,000 annual hours of flight simulator training provided to global aviation professionals, we are expanding our instructor capacity across multiple fleet types.

Core Responsibilities
-
Deliver comprehensive theoretical and practical training in accordance with LAT OPS DE training standards.

Prepare and customize training sessions to meet specific client requirements.

Develop and continuously update high-quality training documentation and materials.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates must possess long-term experience as an instructor within flight operations or aviation training organizations, along with the following qualifications:

EASA ATPL license.

Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Valid MPA Type Rating with an active TRI entry on at least one of the following: A320, A220/BD500, EMB E1/E2, A330/A350, or Q400.

For A330/A350: Valid MPA Type Rating with active TRI entry on at least one additional Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, or Embraer type.

For Examiners: Valid examiner authorization.

Minimum ICAO English Level 4.

German language proficiency: Native speaker, Level C1, or ICAO Level 5 “Extended.”

Minimum 500 hours of instructional experience in FSTD or aircraft as an SFI/TRI.

Proven experience in the airline training sector.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Strong social and didactic competencies, team spirit, and a professional customer-oriented mindset.

Willingness to travel and flexibility to qualify for additional aircraft types.
