Role Summary
Starlink Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated First Officer for its Challenger 300 aircraft. Based in Montreal, Canada, this pivotal role involves operating international charter and corporate flights. The First Officer will work under the responsibility of Starlink Aviation’s Operations Manager, playing a crucial role in the safe planning and execution of all flight operations. This position requires an individual who can serve as an effective ambassador between customer-owners and the operator, ensuring that the flight objectives of all stakeholders are achieved with professionalism and peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely plan and manage all international flight operations in close collaboration with the Starlink Aviation team.
- Act as a primary ambassador between customer-owners and the operational team, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure the successful achievement of flight objectives for all stakeholders while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
- Maintain clear and precise communication with air traffic controllers and ground crews across various international jurisdictions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements pertinent to international operations, including comprehensive documentation and communication protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- Successful completion of Transport Canada medical examinations, resulting in a valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, which is crucial for clear and precise communication with international air traffic controllers and ground crews, as well as for meeting regulatory compliance requirements for international operations.
- Possession of a valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a current instrument rating.
- Minimum of 1500 total flight hours.
- Demonstrated experience operating turbojet aircraft.
Preferred Assets
- Type rating and significant experience on a Challenger 300 aircraft.
- Extensive international flight experience.
