Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G650ER Captain to join a commutable operation based at Oakland International Airport (KOAK). This pivotal role demands a standout aviation professional committed to excellence in every aspect of their performance. Key Responsibilities

The Gulfstream G650ER Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Ensuring the aircraft's safe operation in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures.
• Conducting comprehensive pre-flight inspections as detailed in the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to each flight.
• Performing complete checks of weather conditions and available facilities along the intended route, including appropriate alternate airports.
• Guaranteeing the safety and well-being of all passengers, aircraft, and crew throughout the flight.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in adherence to current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate extensive flight experience and hold the following minimum qualifications:

• Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
• Turbine Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Possession of a current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft is essential.
• A valid First-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis is required.
• Must be capable of completing annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour flight radius of the San Francisco Bay Area, or a willingness to relocate to this region, is expected.

Compensation

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation based on market conditions, geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft, specific job duties, training, and the assigned account. The estimated annual salary range for Solairus crewmembers is between $50,000 and $500,000.
