About the Role
The Aviation Pilot Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient executive air transportation of passengers utilizing company aircraft. Operations are conducted in strict accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. This critical position is based in the Houston, Texas area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of all assigned flight trips, ensuring the utmost safety and comfort for passengers.
- Active participation on project teams and/or committees to support and enhance aviation operations.
- Independent completion of other assigned duties to contribute to the overall success of the department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possession of a valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport and the ability to travel globally without any restrictions.
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Certificate with an English Proficient endorsement.
- Minimum flight hour experience: 3000 total hours, 1000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours, and 1000 multiengine turbojet hours.
- Current Type Rating in a Mid-size or Large Cabin aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Type Rating in a Gulfstream G280 or G650.
- International flight crew experience.
- A 4-year college degree.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and supportive of Company goals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly interact with co-workers and executives.
- Strong technical and computer proficiency, including MS Office and iPad usage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
