Role Overview: Gulfstream G280 Captain

Solairus Aviation is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Gulfstream G280 Captain to join its esteemed operation based at the KBED airport in Bedford, Massachusetts. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Gulfstream G280 Captain will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Gulfstream G280 aircraft.
Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to, but not limited to, the following critical aspects:
- Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to each flight.
- Executing a proper pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Conducting a comprehensive check of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including all primary and alternate airports.
- Ensuring all flight operations comply with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in adherence to current operational procedures.

Minimum Pilot Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC) Time: 500 hours
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Additional Requirements

A current Type Rating on the Gulfstream G280 or a comparable aircraft is required.
Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
The ability to work on an on-call basis is essential for this role.
Successful completion of ICAO International procedures training is required annually.
Primary residence must be established within a two-hour drive from KBED, or the candidate must demonstrate a willingness to relocate to the area.

Compensation and Benefits

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range for its crewmembers, from $50,000 to $500,000. Compensation is determined based on market conditions, geographic area, experience level, equipment type/aircraft flown, specific job duties, training requirements, and the assigned account.
