Aviation Captain / Pilot in Command (PIC)
The organization is actively seeking a highly skilled, safety-oriented, and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to assume a critical role within its elite flight operations division. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, advanced aeronautical decision-making skills, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command will be required to execute the following responsibilities:
- The Captain is responsible for verifying that all crewing, scheduling, and trip assignments adhere strictly to applicable federal aviation regulations (FARs) and established company policies.
- Executes comprehensive flight planning, including calculating aircraft performance metrics, determining optimal routing, and accurately completing weight and balance computations for every scheduled assignment, ensuring maximum safety margins.
- Maintains the highest level of professional conduct, technical proficiency, and compliance throughout all phases of flight and ground operations.
Minimum Professional Qualifications and Flight Experience
Prospective candidates must demonstrate that they meet or exceed the following mandatory flight hour requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Pilot in Command Multi-Engine Land (PIC MEL) Time: 500 hours
