Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Falcon 7X Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility for the safe and proficient operation of the Falcon 7X aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, meticulous adherence to the following protocols:

  • Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, strictly in accordance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Thoroughly reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to each operation.
  • Performing comprehensive pre-flight inspections as outlined in the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Ensuring a complete understanding of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including designated alternate airports.
  • Guaranteeing that all flights are executed in strict compliance with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritizing and ensuring the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the flight crew.
  • Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Time: 1500 hours
  • MEL Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on the Falcon 7X or a comparable aircraft is required.
  • A current First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis is essential.
  • Must successfully complete annual ICAO International Procedures training.
  • Primary residence must be located within a two-hour drive of KBED, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
