Solairus Aviation is actively recruiting a Full-Time Citation Latitude Captain to join its esteemed operation based at KMCO airport in Orlando, Florida. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensures the safe and proficient operation of the Citation Latitude aircraft.
  • Conducts flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to but not limited to the following critical aspects:
    • Thoroughly reviews the aircraft's maintenance status.
    • Performs a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
    • Completes a detailed check of weather conditions and facilities along the intended route of flight and at destination/alternate airports.
    • Guarantees flight operations align with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
    • Maintains the utmost safety for all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
    • Accurately completes all required trip paperwork in strict accordance with current procedural guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Total flight time: 3,000 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land PIC time: 500 hours
  • Time in Turbo Jet aircraft: 500 hours
  • Instrument flight time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

  • Type rating on the Citation Latitude or a comparable aircraft is required.
  • A current First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Must possess the ability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Annual completion of ICAO International Procedures training is required.
  • Must maintain primary residence within a two-hour driving distance of KMCO airport or be willing to relocate.

Solairus Aviation gathers salary range data based on prevailing market conditions from various industry sources. Compensation for Solairus crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, contingent upon factors such as geographic location, professional experience, aircraft type operated, specific job duties, ongoing training, and the assigned client account.
