Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Falcon 900 B/C Captain to join its operations team based at KTEB airport in Teterboro, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is expected to be a standout colleague who consistently pursues excellence in every aspect of their performance. Key Responsibilities

The Falcon 900 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Falcon 900 aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting flights in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance. Specific duties involve:

• Ensuring the safe operation of the Falcon 900 aircraft.
• Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner, including:
• Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting a complete check of weather and facilities along the route of flight and designated airports, including suitable alternate airports.
• Ensuring the flight is conducted in strict accordance with the policies and procedures of Solairus Aviation and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Minimum Flight Experience

Candidates must meet the following minimum hour requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications

• Possession of a type rating for the Falcon 900 or a comparable aircraft type.
• A valid First Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis as required by operational demands.
• Commitment to completing ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence must be within a two-hour driving radius of KTEB, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
