Challenger 3500 Pilot
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, is seeking a qualified pilot for a Challenger 3500 aircraft. With a pioneering history in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, EJM offers unrivaled resources and operational stability within the world's largest private aviation infrastructure. This position is based in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, at the AGC airport, operating under Part 91 and 135 regulations to domestic and international locations. The operation is supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. This is a three-pilot account. Residency within driving distance of AGC airport is required.
Responsibilities
The pilot ensures the safe operation of flight by adhering to the following:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as required. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including the maintenance status of the aircraft, to ensure mission readiness. Records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
- Completing passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation, delivering the highest level of customer service, and meeting any special needs of passengers.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
The pilot delivers an exceptional service experience by:
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide consistent service, resolving conflict and challenges appropriately.
The pilot maintains proficiency and compliance by:
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications
Certifications and Licenses:
- First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Experience:
4-6 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Preference given to local pilots with Challenger experience
Compensation
Base Salary Range:
- Small/Mid/Supermid Cabin Size: $160,000 – $325,000
- Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Size: $160,000 – $425,000
