Challenger 3500 Pilot - Executive Jet Management
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, has been a leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977. Rooted in safety, service, and integrity, EJM seeks qualified candidates for a Challenger 3500 aircraft based in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, at Allegheny County Airport (AGC). This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, serving domestic and international locations. This position is not commutable and requires residing within driving distance of AGC airport.
The successful candidate ensures the safe operation of flight by:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including assessing the maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness. Recording all aircraft discrepancies per company SOPs.
- Ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished according to SOPs.
- Completing passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, delivering high-level customer service, and meeting special passenger needs.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
The individual delivers an exceptional service experience by:
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience, resolving conflict and challenges constructively.
The candidate maintains proficiency and compliance by:
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns appropriately.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
- First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Required Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Preference given to local pilots with Challenger experience
Base Salary Range:
- Small/Mid/Supermid Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 – $325,000
- Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin Aircraft: $160,000 – $425,000
