Position Summary
Executive Jet Management is seeking highly qualified candidates to serve as a Pilot on an EMB-550 aircraft. This position is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, operating from STP Airport. The role is part of a dedicated team managing a three-aircraft account supported by seven pilots and three maintenance technicians, conducting Part 91 operations primarily to domestic destinations.
This position requires the successful candidate to reside within driving distance of Saint Paul Airport, as it is not commutable.
Key Responsibilities
The Pilot's duties encompass ensuring the safe operation of flights, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining professional proficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performing comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Leading required briefings utilizing the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to effectively mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating seamlessly with company personnel.
- Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight inspections, including verifying the maintenance status to ensure the aircraft is mission capable.
- Recording all aircraft discrepancies strictly in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitoring and ensuring all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) is accomplished according to SOPs.
- Conducting passenger briefings aligned with company policy and regulations.
- Providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Effectively utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigating and resolving service deviations diligently.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistent service experience.
- Resolving conflicts and challenges professionally and acceptably.
- Maintaining all required regulatory and company training, as well as recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through designated channels.
Certifications and Licenses
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
Experience
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in aviation.
- Prior experience in corporate or business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet is required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Meet the following minimum flight time requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
