Essential Responsibilities and Duties

The Challenger 604 Captain is entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the Challenger 604 aircraft. Key duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Command Challenger 604 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence during all flight operations.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, meticulously adhering to established procedures and regulatory requirements. This encompasses:
  • Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to each flight.
  • Performing a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Conducting a complete analysis of weather conditions and facilities along the planned route, including all designated primary and alternate airports.
  • Ensuring all flight operations comply with Solairus Aviation's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Maintaining absolute priority for the safety and comfort of all passengers, aircraft, and crew members throughout the flight.
  • Accurately completing all required flight documentation and trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a distinguished record of aviation experience and hold the following minimum qualifications:

Flight Experience

• Total Time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land Pilot-in-Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with a Challenger 604 type rating (or a comparable aircraft type rating).
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an on-call basis, exhibiting flexibility to meet dynamic operational demands.
• Commitment to completing annual ICAO International Procedures training as required.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KSUA Airport in Stuart, Florida, or a willingness to relocate to the specified area.
