Position Overview
ACI Jet is seeking an experienced Challenger 604 Captain (PIC) for its Flight Operations team. The Captain is responsible for performing duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot safely and efficiently. This role involves operating assigned aircraft while cultivating positive and productive relationships with ACI Jet employees, vendors, and clients. The Challenger 604 Captain reports directly to the Account Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ACI Jet aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to all company regulations, manufacturer limitations, government rules, and agency requirements.
- Coordinate with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch to ensure flight operations meet established goals and objectives in accordance with company policies.
- Provide exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to ACI Jet Charter clients and owners.
- Maintain current Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) data, including navigation and application updates.
- Stay knowledgeable regarding applicable sections of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections, ensuring the aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability are adequate for flight.
Qualifications
- 3,500 hours total flight time.
- 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- 1,500 hours multi-engine PIC time.
- 300 hours instrument flight time.
- 500 hours turbine aircraft time.
- Challenger 604 (CL-604) Type Rating is highly desired.
- Current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- Must meet the requirements of ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10 for the specific account.
- Must possess a valid ATP rating.
- Ability to maintain a First Class Medical certificate.
- Ability to maintain a valid United States Passport.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to reside within a 90-minute radius of San Luis Obispo Regional Airport (KSBP).
- High level of motivation and organizational skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year (dependent on experience).
