Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

The Challenger 3500 Captain is primarily responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. This includes conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering strictly to applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Aviation policies and procedures. Key duties involve:

• Reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status.
• Performing thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Conducting comprehensive checks of weather conditions and airport facilities along the planned route, including alternate airports.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork according to current procedures.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) PIC: 500 hours
• Time in Turbo Jet: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications/Certifications:

• Type rated on the Challenger 3500 or a comparable aircraft.
• Current First Class Medical Certificate required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOXC or willing to relocate to the area.
