Essential Responsibilities/Duties
The Gulfstream G600 Captain will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safe and responsible operation of the Gulfstream G600 aircraft at all times.
- Conducting all flights in a safe and prudent manner adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures, including but not limited to:
- Thoroughly reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status prior to each flight.
- Performing a comprehensive pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Conducting a complete weather and facility check for the intended route, including alternate airports.
- Ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of all passengers, crew members, and the aircraft.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed trip paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications
To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Total Flight Time: 3000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- MEL PIC: 500 hours
- Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 250 hours
Specific Qualifications/Certifications
In addition to the above, candidates must also hold the following:
- Type rating on the Gulfstream G600 or a comparable aircraft.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Willingness to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KCMA or willingness to relocate.

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, location, aircraft type, and assigned account.
