Flight Attendant Position at Solairus Aviation

The successful candidate will ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight, providing a superior experience from pre-flight preparations to post-flight cabin maintenance.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide superior client service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Provide immediate assistance and direction to passengers during emergencies.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and first aid, to passengers as needed. Secure the cabin in accordance with all federal regulations before takeoff and landing, reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unsettling events.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings.
- Ensure adequate onboard supplies, including food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment, based on passenger count and flight duration.
- Procure any special items requested by passengers for their flight.
- Maintain a pristine cabin environment by inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment. Ensure aircraft readiness for subsequent flights.
- Conduct regular cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness. Meticulously complete all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
- Operate and maintain all audio and video systems.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations. Possession of a valid First Aid Training Certification is mandatory.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a comparable institution is preferred, with annual recurrent training required. Candidates lacking formal flight attendant training may be considered based on extensive relevant experience, but initial flight attendant training completion is a prerequisite to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past twelve months.

- Demonstrated flexibility, patience, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven culinary skills and formal culinary training.
- Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice assignments (2-3-hour response time when on standby).
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally (candidates must address any potential health or visa restrictions).
- Availability for deployments of up to sixteen (16) consecutive days.
- Proficient operation of all Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and divan bed configuration.
- Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages is highly desirable.
- Experience working with young children is a plus.
Specific Physical Qualifications and Certifications:
- Vision: Correctable vision to 20/20 or better; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. Ability to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and proficiently use computers, smartphones, and tablets.
- Hearing/Speaking: Clear and articulate speech; adequate hearing for effective communication in various settings, including in-flight communication with clients, colleagues, and pilots.
- Mobility: Physical capacity to stand and walk unassisted for extended periods (up to 14 hours with limited sitting). Ability to work long hours in diverse climates.
- Dexterity: Ability to kneel, stoop, bend, and maneuver in confined aircraft spaces.
- Strength: Ability to open/close cabin doors (up to 130 pounds), write, type, use technology, prepare/serve food and beverages, and lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly.
Compensation and Benefits:
Solairus offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, location, aircraft type, responsibilities, training, and assigned account.
