Global 6000 Captain - Western Region Commutable
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated, full-time Global 6000 Captain to join a commutable flight operation based at KSJC airport. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional excellence and a commitment to the company’s core values of safety, service, and integrity.
Essential Responsibilities

Maintain the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.

Conduct all flights in a safe and prudent manner in compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Perform comprehensive pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.

Review aircraft maintenance status prior to operations.

Conduct thorough weather and facility analysis for planned routes, including destination and alternate airports.

Ensure the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.

Complete all required trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current company procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements

Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours.

PIC Time: 1,500 hours.

MEL Time: 1,500 hours.

MEL PIC Time: 500 hours.
-
Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours.
-
Instrument Time: 250 hours.

Current type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft.

Possession of a valid First Class Medical certificate.

Ability to work on an on-call basis.

Requirement to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.

Primary residence within a short flight distance of KSJC or a willingness to relocate.
Compensation
Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on market conditions, geographic area, experience, equipment type, job duties, and training. Remuneration for crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
