Key Responsibilities of a Global 6000 Captain

The Global 6000 Captain is entrusted with the paramount responsibility for the safe and prudent operation of the Global 6000 aircraft. Key duties for this corporate pilot role include, but are not limited to:

Conducting thorough reviews of the aircraft's maintenance status.
Performing meticulous pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Completing comprehensive checks of weather conditions and facility availability along the intended route, including primary and alternate airports.
Ensuring all flights strictly adhere to Solairus Aviation's established policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Prioritizing and guaranteeing the safety of all passengers, the aircraft, and the entire crew.
Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with current operational procedures.

Essential Pilot Qualifications and Experience

Prospective Global 6000 pilot candidates must possess the following minimum flight hours:

Total Time: 3000 hours
Pilot in Command (PIC): 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
Multi-Engine Land Pilot in Command (MEL PIC): 500 hours
Time in Turbo Jet Aircraft: 500 hours
Instrument Flight Time: 250 hours

Specific Certifications and Requirements

A current type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft is mandatory.
Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
