SkyWest Airlines is seeking dedicated and skilled pilots to join our team. As a SkyWest pilot, you will play a crucial role in delivering a safe and efficient flight experience to our valued passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all flight operations.
- Collaborate with the PIC and passenger service personnel to guarantee timely departures.
- Provide support to the PIC in maneuvering the aircraft throughout all phases of flight, encompassing taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Possession of a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
- English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- U.S. citizenship or documentation verifying the legal right to work in the United States.
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
- Current Passport or equivalent travel documents permitting unrestricted entry into and exit from the U.S. (multiple reentry status).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate assigned flight schedules determined by pilot seniority bidding.
- Adherence to the experience stipulations outlined in FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
SkyWest acknowledges the transferable skills gained from helicopter and glider flying and will consider such experience as part of an applicant's total flight time, provided a minimum of 250 PIC hours on fixed-wing aircraft have been accumulated.
