Second-in-Command Pilot - Elevate Jet
Elevate Jet, a premier provider of aircraft charter, management, sales, and brokerage services for nearly 30 years and a wholly owned subsidiary of Elevate Aviation Group, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Second-in-Command (SIC) Pilot. Based in Salt Lake City, UT, Elevate Jet operates a diverse fleet of private jets, providing 24/7, 365-day-a-year service to destinations worldwide. Summary of Responsibilities:
The SIC will partner with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, adhering strictly to FAA regulations and Elevate Jet's General Operations Manual. The successful candidate will actively contribute to a positive crew environment, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and consistently provide superior customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe and timely private VIP flights under Part 135/91 operations.
- Ensure comprehensive aircraft readiness for all scheduled trips.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with operations personnel.
- Meticulously maintain accurate financial and operational records for every flight.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment, fostering excellence among crew members.
Qualifications:
- Commercial license; Multi-Engine ATP preferred.
- CJ3 type rating preferred.
- Minimum 1800 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine fixed-wing experience.
- Minimum 75 hours instrument flight time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current FAA First-Class medical certificate.
- Impeccable safety record; no FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
- Valid passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 regarding aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with multiple pilots.
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred.
- Prior FAR 135/91 experience preferred.
Schedule and Travel:
- Flight schedule varies by aircraft assignment.
- 100% travel required.
