General Qualifications:
- Must be born after January 1, 1974.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma.
- Must not have received any written punishment for flight failure or flight indiscipline.
- Must not have a criminal record or criminal archive record.
- Must provide an Incident/Accident Clearance Statement.
- Must accept the designated AJet base and reside there.
- Must not have previously quit jobs at Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations due to indiscipline.
- Must not have left Turkish Airlines Inc. and its affiliates due to contract termination.
Technical Qualifications:
- Must hold an EASA/FAA/ICAO CPL/IR (A) with ATPL theoretical credit or ATPL (A) with a valid type rating on the applied aircraft type.
- Must have at least 500 hours of flight experience in B737 or A320 aircraft type (excluding simulator hours).
- Must have flown at least 250 hours in the last 12 months on the applied aircraft type (excluding simulator hours).
- Logbook pages must be updated and approved.
- Must have a valid B737 or A320 type rating.
Language Requirements:
- Must have a minimum ICAO LEVEL 4 proficiency in English.
Health Conditions:
- Candidates must meet Pilot Recruitment Health Criteria. A valid health certificate issued by a DGCA Authorized Aviation Medical Center is required, but the final employment examination will be conducted by AJet workplace doctors. The workplace doctors will review past health records and current health file to determine eligibility.
- Candidates must have an up-to-date 'Flightworthy' Health Report issued from Aviation Medical Centers authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation on the last day of the assessment process.
Evaluation Process:
The evaluation process for expat pilots consists of three phases:
- Phase 1: Document Check (logbook, licenses, diploma, passport, etc.) followed by a CRM Group Assessment.
- Phase 2: Simulator Assessment (preflight brief, flight assessment, and post-flight debrief) followed by a Company Board Interview (HR Specialists and Captain Pilots; questions about background, experiences, and technical knowledge).
- Phase 3: Medical Assessment (thorough medical check at a designated private hospital expensed by AJet).
