Requirements
General Qualifications
- Born after January 1, 1974
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No record of written disciplinary action for flight-related failures or misconduct
- Clean criminal record
- Incident/accident clearance statement
- Willingness to reside in the designated AJet base
- No prior disciplinary dismissal from Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations
- No prior contract termination from Turkish Airlines Inc. or its affiliates
Technical Qualifications
- EASA/FAA/ICAO CPL/IR (A) with ATPL theoretical credit or ATPL (A) with a valid type rating on the applicable aircraft type
- Minimum 500 hours flight experience on B737 or A320 aircraft (excluding simulator hours)
- Minimum 250 hours flight time in the last 12 months on the applicable aircraft type (excluding simulator hours)
- Up-to-date and approved logbook
- Valid B737 or A320 type rating
Language Requirements
- Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency
Health Requirements
A valid health certificate from a DGCA-authorized Aviation Medical Center is required. However, a pre-employment examination by AJet's medical professionals is mandatory, considering past and present health records. Individuals with health concerns not explicitly listed are encouraged to contact us. Candidates must possess an up-to-date "Flightworthy" Health Report issued by a Directorate General of Civil Aviation-authorized Aviation Medical Center on the final day of the assessment process.
Evaluation Process for Expat Pilots
The process begins with an online document check. Only eligible candidates will be invited to assessments in Istanbul.
Phase 1
- Document check (logbook, licenses, diploma, passport, etc.)
- CRM group assessment
Phase 2
- Simulator assessment (pre-flight brief, flight assessment, post-flight debrief)
- Company board interview (with HR specialists and captain pilots)
Phase 3
- Medical assessment (at a designated private hospital, expenses covered by AJet)
AJet will cover all plane tickets and hotel accommodations for the assessment process.
