Second in Command - Super Midsize Jet
A premier aviation operator is seeking qualified Second in Command candidates to support Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations on its fleet of Super Midsize jet aircraft. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional committed to the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the Pilot in Command in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of all flights.
- Manages all duty, flight, and rest times in strict compliance with company requirements and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains professional and timely communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and the submission of pre- and post-flight reports.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight inspections and contributes to all aspects of flight planning and management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 100 hours
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate is required to live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of their assigned home base.
