Overview

Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) seeks highly skilled and dedicated Pilots to ensure the safe and timely operation of aircraft. This role requires a deep understanding of customer value, striving to build loyalty and trust through direct, authentic, and respectful communication.

This position is based in Alexandra, Louisiana; Mesa, Arizona; or Harlingen, Texas.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring the safety and well-being of all crew and passengers.
• Accountable for assessing the airworthiness of the aircraft, evaluating weather factors impacting the flight, adhering to flight regulations, and complying with air traffic control procedures.
• Utilizes all available tools and aids to maximize safety during both ground and flight operations.
• Demonstrates ownership of safety protocols in every aspect of responsibilities, performance, and behavior to ensure successful flight outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Holds a valid FAA Airmen Certificate.
• Possesses a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Holds a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s permit.
• Airbus 320 Type rating is preferred.
• Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time is required.
• Must possess a valid United States passport.
• Ability to maintain a valid passport throughout employment.
• Ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaches with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
