Responsibilities:
- Maintains clear and professional communication, both internally and externally, regarding all aspects of flight operations.
- Provides assistance with the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Operates the aircraft in strict adherence to all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Prioritizes the safety of all flight crew members and ensures the highest standards of customer service.
- Identifies and reports any aircraft deficiencies to maintenance personnel for review and resolution.
- Conducts flight operations safely and effectively during day, night, and varying weather conditions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Holds an unrestricted FAA Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument rating or an Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Maintains a current Instrument Proficiency Check.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the English language.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possesses a valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Holds a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Maintains a valid and current Passport.
- Holds a valid Driver's License.
- Is legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Capable of lifting up to 120 lbs, climbing ladders, and maneuvering around aircraft.
- Successfully completes pre-employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks.
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, various shifts, overtime, and/or respond to after-hours callouts as required.
Minimum (Preferred) Requirements:
- 1500 hours total time.
- 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
- 500 hours multi-engine time.
- 500 hours cross-country time.
- 100 hours night time.
- Possesses experience operating the SA227 or similar turboprop aircraft (TPE331).
- Prior experience with Part 135 or 121 operations, familiarity with company aircraft, and/or previous cargo experience highly preferred.
- Must have a personal iPad and bring it to report for duty.
