Desired qualifications for a STAJets pilot include an Airline Transport Multi-Engine Land certificate, or a completed written equivalent, alongside a current FAA First Class Medical certificate. The candidate must reside within a 1.5-hour driving radius of KSNA. The applicant should possess a minimum of 2500 hours of total pilot time, including 1000 hours of fixed-wing multi-engine pilot-in-command (PIC) time, a total of 5000 hours multi-engine, and 250 hours PIC in type.
