Aviation Pilot Opportunities at Talon Air
Talon Air is actively seeking qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) professionals to join its expanding fleet. Home-based positions are available for several aircraft types, with the majority of fleets operating on a 12-on, 8-off rotation, including travel and workdays on days 1 and 12. Currently, Talon Air is hiring PICs and SICs for the following aircraft: Hawker 4000, Falcon 2000, G200, Challenger 350, Challenger 604, and GV.
Pilot in Command (PIC) Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required.
- Type rating required for the relevant aircraft.
- Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum of 3,000 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours MEL PIC time.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
- One year of experience under 14 CFR Part 135 is preferred.
Second in Command (SIC) Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
- Jet or Turboprop experience required.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
- One year of experience under 14 CFR Part 135 is preferred.
- Type rating is not required.
