Aviation Pilot Opportunities at Talon Air

Talon Air is actively seeking qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) professionals to join its expanding fleet. Home-based positions are available for several aircraft types, with the majority of fleets operating on a 12-on, 8-off rotation, including travel and workdays on days 1 and 12. Currently, Talon Air is hiring PICs and SICs for the following aircraft: Hawker 4000, Falcon 2000, G200, Challenger 350, Challenger 604, and GV.

Pilot in Command (PIC) Qualifications:

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required.
• Type rating required for the relevant aircraft.
• Minimum of 3,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum of 3,000 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• Minimum of 1,500 hours MEL PIC time.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid Passport.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
• Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
• One year of experience under 14 CFR Part 135 is preferred.

Second in Command (SIC) Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
• Jet or Turboprop experience required.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Valid Passport.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada as a commercial pilot.
• Compliance with ICAO Annex I – 2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations with more than one pilot.
• One year of experience under 14 CFR Part 135 is preferred.
• Type rating is not required.
