Pilot in Command – Challenger 604/605

Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to serve as Pilot in Command for its Heavy jet aircraft, supporting both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate should reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base.

The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and bears the ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The PIC will ensure all operations are conducted in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
  • Total Pilot-in-Command Time: 2,000 hours
  • Total Time in Type (Challenger 604/605): 250 hours
  • Total Pilot-in-Command Time in Type: 250 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
  • Total Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command Time: 500 hours
  • Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
  • Total Instrument Time: 300 hours

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times to ensure full compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
  • Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the electronic flight bag (EFB), including hardware and applications.
  • Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
  • Maintain a current and valid 1st Class medical certificate.
  • Demonstrate decisive and proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.
  • Actively uphold and represent Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Preference for initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
  • Must possess the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Possession of a current and valid passport.
  • Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot certificate or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must possess a valid 1st Class Medical certificate.
  • Must hold a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Restricted Radio License.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must possess the unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Must successfully release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • The majority of work will be performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
  • Must be able to frequently move and lift up to 50 pounds.
