Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified Pilot in Command candidates to operate heavy jet aircraft for Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base.
This Pilot in Command position reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering rigorously to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3500 hours total flight time
- 2000 hours total pilot-in-command time
- 250 hours total time in type
- 250 hours total pilot-in-command time in type
- 1500 hours total multi-engine time
- 500 hours total multi-engine pilot-in-command time
- 500 hours total turbine time
- 300 hours total instrument time
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with both company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a valid and current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Uphold Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and undergo random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work will be conducted in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
