Training and Career Progression

The journey to becoming a qualified cabin crew member begins with a comprehensive 6-week training course. This program equips individuals with the fundamental skills necessary for their daily responsibilities, focusing on delivering exceptional safety standards and customer service. The training includes regular assessments and culminates in supernumerary flights, leading to the attainment of Cabin Crew Wings.

Role Expectations

While life as cabin crew is rewarding and exciting, it is also a demanding profession where safety is the paramount priority. Crew members are expected to operate a flexible shift pattern, which may include early starts from 5 am or late finishes until midnight. A willingness to adapt to these demanding hours is crucial.

Candidate Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU, with the ability to travel freely throughout the Ryanair Network.
  • Minimum height of 157 cm (5'2") and a maximum height of 188 cm (6'2").
  • Ability to swim 25 meters unaided.
  • A hardworking, flexible, outgoing, and friendly personality.
  • Adaptability and comfort working a shift roster.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • A genuine passion for travel and interacting with new people.
