Requirements

  • Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations from planning through termination.
  • Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as company procedures and policies.
  • Perform the correct and timely completion of all duties assigned by either the company or the Captain.
  • Conduct a preflight inspection of all cabin emergency equipment applicable to the aircraft type as outlined in the Inflight Manual.
  • Promptly report any mechanical discrepancies to the Captain.
  • Advocate directly and clearly to the Captain any perceptions regarding passenger safety.
  • Maintain a high degree of crew coordination and professionalism.
  • Perform duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times while on duty.
  • Complete all required records and reports.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College education or two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Must be at least 20 years of age.
  • Ability to relocate or commute to an assigned domicile.
  • Height requirement: Minimum 5 ft 2 in and maximum 6 ft 0 in (with shoes).
  • Possession of a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs.
  • Must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the U.S. upon hire.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 lbs, and performing duties requiring standing, walking, climbing stairs, and reaching.
  • Must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) as per 49CFR1542.209.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
