Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead (m/w/d)
TUIfly GmbH is seeking a dedicated Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead to join the team at the earliest possible opportunity. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient deployment and training management of cockpit personnel.
Key Responsibilities

Provide disciplinary and professional leadership to the Cockpit Crew Planning & Training team, including employee development, performance appraisals, resource planning, and goal setting.

Monitor the flight program regarding crew deployment plans, ensuring compliance with flight duty and rest time regulations, legal requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and internal labor policies.

Ensure the integration of Fatigue Risk Management and training requirements into cockpit crew rosters.

Manage the planning of cockpit personnel for an assigned station and provide team representation.

Collaborate with the Manager Crew Planning, the Cabin Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead, and the Fatigue Officer Crew Planning; act as a deputy for leadership roles within the Crew Planning department.

Prepare analyses for committee work and represent the department as a technical expert; lead or participate in departmental projects.

Engage in proactive coordination with the Manager Crew Planning to identify operational trends and develop recommendations for process efficiency and optimization.

Maintain and update all work instructions and manuals for crew planning; prepare and support internal and external audits.

Develop and optimize cross-departmental processes and workflows.
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in Crew Planning or a comparable field.

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a rapid grasp of complex tasks.

Structured, goal-oriented work style and strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS 365; knowledge of Amadeus is considered an asset.

Prior experience in project work, ideally including project leadership.

Business-fluent German and good English language skills.

Willingness to work shifts during coordinated operational exceptional situations.
