Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead (m/w/d)

TUIfly GmbH is seeking a dedicated Flight Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead to join the team at the earliest possible opportunity. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient deployment of cockpit personnel while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide disciplinary and professional leadership for the Cockpit Crew Planning and Training team, including resource management, performance appraisals, and professional development.
Monitor the flight program regarding crew deployment schedules, ensuring compliance with flight duty and rest time regulations, legal requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and internal labor agreements.
Ensure the integration of Fatigue Risk Management and training requirements into cockpit personnel rosters.
Oversee cockpit personnel planning for assigned stations and provide team representation.
Collaborate with the Manager Crew Planning, the Cabin Crew Rostering & Training Team Lead, and the Fatigue Officer Crew Planning, while providing management support within the Crew Planning department.
Prepare analyses for committee work and represent the department as a technical expert; manage or participate in strategic projects.
Analyze operational trends to provide recommendations for enhancing planning efficiency and optimizing workflows.
Maintain and update all Crew Planning work instructions and manuals, and support necessary audits.

Candidate Profile

Demonstrated experience in Crew Planning or a comparable professional field.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a rapid grasp of complex processes.
Structured, goal-oriented working style with excellent organizational capabilities.
Proficiency in MS 365; experience with Amadeus is considered an asset.
Previous experience in project work, ideally including project management.
Business fluency in German and good proficiency in English.
Availability for shift work during defined operational exceptions.
Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and interpersonal communication skills.
