JetBlue Airways is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Inflight Crewmembers to join their team. This pivotal role, often referred to as a Flight Attendant or Cabin Crew, is based in Orlando, FL, with potential assignments to other major JetBlue operating bases including Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), and San Juan (SJU). As an Inflight Crewmember, you will be a key brand ambassador, ensuring a comfortable, safe, and positive travel experience for all customers on every flight.

Respond safely and effectively to a broad range of in-flight emergencies.

Consistently provide outstanding customer service and serve as an ambassador of the JetBlue brand.

Serve as the primary respondent to customer issues onboard, finding creative resolutions to ensure satisfaction.

Responsible for the safety and security of customers, crewmembers, and equipment.

Provide assistance to customers with lifting carry-on bags and assist disabled customers or unaccompanied minors.

Promote and provide inflight products, including beverage and snack service, and onboard product sales to meet ancillary revenue goals.

Maintain engagement with the Company through e-mail, paper mail, and intranet communications to enhance safety and service responsibilities.

Utilize company-issued electronic tablets for processing onboard sales, accessing customer information, and other functions.

Adhere to JetBlue Inflight Crewmember Uniform Appearance Standards.

Work varying schedules, including reserve duty, weekends, evenings, and holidays, with potential for last-minute drafting.
Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.

At least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Two (2) years of face-to-face customer service experience, including proactively resolving customer issues regularly.

Successfully complete an assessment evaluating Customer Service, Dependability, and Safety Orientation.

Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

For Bilingual roles, successfully complete a Spanish language fluency assessment.

Proven ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
-
Vision corrected to 20/20.

Successfully complete the JetBlue Airways Inflight Training Program, including Initial Training and Annual Continuous Education Programs.

Ability to walk comfortably down the aircraft aisle facing forward and backward, fit quickly through the over-wing exit, and sit securely in the assigned Flight Attendant jumpseat.

Able to reach six feet three inches (6’3”) without shoes.

Able to be scheduled away from home for up to five (5) nights and six (6) consecutive days; irregular operations may occasionally cause extended work days or duty periods.

Ability to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds.

Knowledge of basic computer and electronic tablet devices.

Able to read and comprehend guidance as found in required manuals.

Upon notification, be able to report to an assigned base location within 2 hours (BOS, FLL, MCO, SJU) or 2 hours and 45 minutes (EWR, JFK, LAX).

Currently possess a U.S. passport or a foreign passport with applicable visas to freely enter and exit all JetBlue destinations, with a minimum of 12 months’ validity remaining at the time of application.

Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.

Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Two (2) years of customer-facing sales experience.

Ability to function effectively with limited supervisory oversight.

Possess a strong passion for quality customer service.

Prior emergency management experience, such as medical training, law enforcement, or military background.
