JOB SUMMARY:

The Captain will act as the Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) and will manage all aspects of assigned trips in compliance with established SOP’s. The Captain will prepare and operate the aircraft, provide customer service to passengers, and will be an active participant in the department Safety Management System (SMS). The Corporate Aviation team will strive to provide Safe, Secure, Efficient and Flexible travel to all internal and external customers. Safety, Customer Service, and Operational Excellence will be the driving force behind all Corporate Aviation endeavors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner per established company policies and procedures while abiding by all FAR’s and ICAO guidelines and by the manufactures recommended configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with FOM policies and procedures, IS-BAO requirements, FAR’s and SOP’s.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while assisting with passenger needs when they are aboard the company aircraft.
  • Complete all flight planning duties as established in the company FOM; including ensuring FOM required documents have been prepared, filed, and all regulatory requirements have been met prior to departure.
  • Perform aircraft preflight and preparation for assigned flights. Ensures that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) by identifying, reporting, and assisting in mitigation of safety related issues. Provide timely input on safety related topics and apply appropriate checklists while making decisions. Comply with all FOM required duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as related to the Safety Management System.
  • Complete all required Company, Department, Regulatory, and Aircraft specific training at the specified intervals.
  • Assist Chief Pilot and/or Director of Aviation with requested tasks outside of flight assignments and assigned flight duties.
  • Responsible for staying current on international flying procedures and executing an overseas trip following FOM, FAA, and ICAO guidelines in support of enterprise needs.
  • Execute duties as Pilot Flying and Pilot not Flying, as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • One (1) or more years of Corporate Captain experience.
  • Must have completed approved flight and ground school training programs.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification with multi-engine land rating; Able to Hold a Type Rating for at least one of the Types of aircraft operated (applicable type rating provided by company, if required) ; First Class Medical Certification; Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Radio License; and valid Passport.
  • 6,000 hours total flight time with at least 1,000 hours of multi-engine jet pilot-in-command (PIC) experience.
  • Prior experience as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) and Second-In-Command (SIC) flying domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to pass/maintain FAA Class 1 physical examination.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation.
  • Experience as an International Captain within a corporate department.

Physical Demands : Frequent Sitting, Driving, Hearing, Talking, Visual, and Manual Dexterity; Occasional Walking/Running, Reaching, Climbing, Driving, Typing; Seldom standing, Bending/Kneeling, Fine Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, Lifting/Carrying and Pushing/Pulling up to 50lbs.
